Drama School Diaries (DSD) Part 22

8 Jun

This is a quick one.

When you feel a little depressed (and I don’t just mean the type of depression diagnosed by doctors; not just the kind that science can treat, I mean spiritual emotion mental and physical depression) because you are tired of where you are at. You remember days when you actually ENJOYED being where you are, and you wonder what’s happened. Why all of a sudden all you feel is total frustration remember this…

There were once good days, and there will be more; don’t let the bad days change your mind.

Stick with it. Keep going. Don’t give up because it’s not as easy as you thought so it ‘must not  be God’s will’. That’s the whole point; it’s never supposed to be 100% easy.

Look inside of yourself and find your creator there, look to the hills from whence cometh your help. Just don’t give up. And go through it with grace. ‘Coz when you leave, you leave footstep for someone else to walk in. Do you want those footsteps to be sunken in the ground with depression and pessimism? Or do you want them to be graceful footsteps? The type someone can follow you on and learn something?

Whatever you do, remember you are making way for the generation that’s following you. Give them a good impression.

I couldnt agree more! Well said and simply put. I been feeling like that lately, just wanting to stay at home or not go into work, but I believe got brought me to this point and he will also take me beyond it and that each stage is an opportunity to learn and grow some more. Thank you for the reminder!
